We actively engage in the reforestation of our local area by buying trees and planting them: 300 trees planted between 2019 and 2020. We also offer our neighbors to come and reforest part of their land, free of charge.
We also donate part of our income to local non-profits and help them organize events: “Green Miss”, “Rich Coast”, beach clean-ups, actions to obtain a ban on single-use plastic, awareness-raising, etc.
Our eco-villa grounds at Los Nancites saw its monkey population grow over 14 years, while Guanacaste’s overall howler monkey population declined by 40% in the past 15 years.
By choosing to travel with us, you will play your part in making things better. Some of our former guests have organized crowdfunding drives across Europe to help us continue our work on the ground.
